Happy Easter

Hard to see but there is an Easter bunny sitting just right of the fallen plastic rabbit among the Easter eggs.

Saturday I went to the Guild meeting by myself. While there I spun a lot of brown wool while gabbing with the other ladies. I also bought some mohair wool blend in white from Julie to mix with the brown that I was spinning.

I am done sewing my sweater together and I am now working on sewing the seams flat. It looks like it will fit. It stretches a bit at the neck maybe I should sew in some ribbon there. The next sweater will be a few more inches higher on the middle piece.

I finished the blue strip for the afghan and sewed it on to the others. I have started on another white strip and this one might be my last. We shall see after it is all sewn together.

Here is what I have so far

It's all about the sweater

Yes just as the title says it is all about the sweater. I ran out of the white so I had to spin some more. Thank goodness I had more to spin. The sweater pieces are all knitted and it looks huge. Now I have begun to sew the pieces together. I am putting an one inch seam allowance and that should take up some of the bulk. I love the way it looks so far. If it does not fit me I guess Amy will get a new sweater.

This shows a finished seam.

Here are the pieces all jumbled together.

Wheel
I have done some spinning. I started the brown beast to see how it would spin, and of course I spun more white mohair blend.

Afghan
Since the sweater is done I actually knitted a bunch on the afghan. This strip is almost done.

What do you mean I can't help.

I'm not interested in your silly wool any way.
